Yoga at 6:30 am
SO...I made a promise to myself earlier this week that I would try to make more time for myself. There is a Yoga class Tuesday AM at my gym at 6:30 am. So last night I set my alarm for 5am and decided that I would attend. I already knew that waking up would be a struggle, I never wake up that early-EVER !!! So I missed the alarm- but I fought my thoughts of going back to bed when I saw it was 5:45 am. I fought my thoughts- and got out of bed and decided that I wouldn't miss that Yoga class for anything in the world. Long behold- I MADE IT ON TIME !!!! Although I was half asleep for the first 20 minutes of the class (mind you we were only 3 people in the class)- it was hot yoga too- so the heat was putting me right back to sleep mode. For some reason I couldn't get my mind to stay clear- thoughts kept running through my head- I couldn't even hear the teacher or the music- I was just going through the motions of the moves. (It was still dark outside and the lights were off in the studio) LMAO- then after 20 minutes I was fully awake- and started to feel my body reap the rewards of the relaxation. WOOOOSAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great Yoga work out ! Next thing I knew it was 7:30 am- the class is done and I feel great, thinking to myself- Didn't I lock my things in the locker? Where is the key? OMG I locked the key in the locker (cause I was half asleep) So I run to the front desk ask the poor girl if she can break my lock and she does. Couldn't stop laughing though- that was so funny.
